The difficulties encountered during the realization of the last Festival brought some problems in the way Moroccan people deal nature to our attention...
These problems mainly come from a deep lack of ecological education. Many people don't understand the consequences of pollution, because they don't really know how the nature around them works.

Nature has sacred cycles that are running for billions of years and we human beings have the claim to destroy all this process in less then a century.

Our mother planet is sick and she sends us signs every day to awake our conscience. We would like deep from our souls to change the world to change its evolution.
Maybe mankind went too far and it is too late, but still we have to struggle until our last breath.

Our wonderful country has lived in peace for millenniums and had people respecting nature and living in a 100% ecological life style, we didn't have a poor and harmful population focusing to possess and consume more and more and more. Until where? We want to change something in our country and show to the world that modernity and globalization has destroyed our earth faster that any empire ever. In less then 50 years the memory of our Moroccan cultural and spiritual heritage has been erased from our collective memory and has given place to the petro-dollar lifestyle.

Today we want to focus on our country and diffuse the alarm signal: we have pushed the resources of our planet to its limit, we have to wake up and do something.

In order to share ecological knowledge and international culture, we created an association of eco-civic education to make a lobby in morocco and start to speak about something that all of us in our comfortable chairs try to forget.
We want to change the world and make it a better place for all of us; we have to shout it everyday with all the power life has given us.

That's why we want to give to ROP 2008 a new orientation and create the first festival of ecology and sustainable development in Africa.

We decided to give a new name to this vision that has to be pronounced high and strong: "Let's change the world"

So let's change it!!!
